UNITEC does security and guarding activities through the following legal channels :

     -Commercial Register No. 133313 Issued by Giza Governorate Commercial Register Office.
-Tax Card No. 10466 issued by Al-Haram Tax Office.
-Registration Certificate No. 673-761-529 for sales tax.
-A permission from Ministry of Interior - Public Safety for doing public security and guarding activities.
-A permission for security guards to carry fire arms in accordance with the law No. 394.

 
 

Aims of guarding
1.   Preventing any breach of law, especially preventing theft and embezzlements.
2.   Preventing any act of aggression against the workers on sites, clients, visitors and people who     frequently come and go, and guarantying safety and security for all.
3.   Preventing any act of violence and sabotage, and keeping the site safe.
4.  Maintaining order and public safety.
5.  Rapid action in emergency situations as in case of fire.
6.   Carrying out all instructions issued by the management of the establishment.
 

 Characteristics of guards of UNITEC

Guards are chosen according to the following general & special conditions :

1.  People who have done the armed service, and have got previous experience in security and guarding work.  They are also fit and skilful in using fire arms.

2.   Age does not exceed 35 years putting into consideration suitable height and weight.

3.   Suitability of qualifications to site requirements (intermediate-high).

4.  Irreproachable life history and being presentable.

5.   Full-time occupation to ensure loyalty, affiliation and high standard of performance.

6.   Mental ability for good individual judgement in emergency situations.

7.   Clear and precise understanding for instructions issued by the company and the client.

8.  Courtesy, smartness and treating people well whatever their culture and nationalities.

9.   People exercising sports such as Karate, boxing, judo....etc. are preferred.
 

Training 

          Security guards are given advanced training courses by elite previous army officers who are specialized in security.  These training courses qualify security guards to do their work with concentration on the following :

- Danger elements against establishments.

-  Safety of people who work in these establishments,

- Ways of controlling going in and out of establishments.
 

Protection of Important people :

-  Identifying what the important personality is.

-  Danger and its origins and how to predict dangers.

-  Principles and aims of protecting public personalities.

-  And lastly characters which a body-guard must attain.
 

  Forbidding :

Security guards are forbidden from the following :

1.    Leaving work site for any reason without supervisor permission.

2.    Exchanging shifts or work sites without supervisor permission.

3.    Sleeping at work sites.

4.    Asking for presents or accepting money from others.

5.    Giving false talks or reports.

6.    Not reporting accidents.

7.    Leaving work sites before the arrival of the substitution.

8.    Changing the card supplied by the company or giving it to others.

9.    Wearing plain cloths during work.

10.  Coming late for work.

11.  Neglecting work by reading newspapers or chatting with others.

12.  Allowing unauthorized people access to work sites.

13.  Taking properties from work sites without permission.

14.  Giving information about work.

15.  Handing over responsibilities to unauthorized people.

16. Not carrying out instructions given by the company or the client.

17.  Not offering help in dangerous situations and in case of fire.
 

Public relations and its relation with security service.

          The way security guards are conducting their work has a direct effect and strong connection concerning relation between themselves on one hand, and between them and those who come frequently to the establishment on the other hand.

So a security is told and trained on his duties and what he should do, for example :

1. Avoiding violence and harshness in dealing with clients and those who come frequently to the site, differentiating between :

-  Doing security duties to achieve public interest and giving in to public desires against work interest.

2. Using polite manner and respectable language in talking to the public.

3.  Meeting people with a smile creates an intimate feeling.

4.   Respecting others and bright smile does not mean in anyway abandoning firmness.

1.   Rewarding wage, salaries and bonuses that make them hang on to their jobs in the company.

2.  Providing social and health care.

3.  Allowances and presents in special occasions and festivals.

4.   The company gives its workers 4 special and distinguished uniforms of good quality and presentable.
 

 Privileges the company offers to its clients

1. One million insurance policy covers civil responsibility against mistakes, negligence or dishonesty....etc if it is caused by one of UNITEC employees (document No. 218168 El-Sharq Insurance Company).

2. Several and regular supervising levels, round the clock offered by UNITEC that guarantee a good service at its sites which fall within its responsibility at no additional cost.

3.   Clients have the right to ask for changing any security guard when they have logical reasons for that, and the company shall respond positively within 24 hours in central areas and 48 hours in outside areas.


  Cost of service :

Cost of services vary according to :

-  Nature and location of the service.

-  Characteristics of individuals and languages they master.

-   Clients desire for weapons or not.

- In the case of a client asking for a special uniform with especial qualities.

-  10% sales tax is add to the above.
